Festiva Adventure Club Loyalty Program

Points Conversion Rules & Regulations

As of February 2011

Eligibility: FAC President Annual, President Biennial, Chairman Annual, Chairman Biennial, Ambassador Annual, Conversion President Annual, Conversion President Biennial, Conversion Chairman Annual and Conversion Chairman Biennial members

Definition: Eligible members are entitled to convert their FAC use year allotment of points through Festiva Travel Services for other non-Festiva network travel purchases (i.e. airline tickets, hotel rooms, etc). Members are restricted from using deferred points for this benefit.

How the program works: Eligible members will call the Loyalty Program VIP Direct Access Phone Line and speak to a Festiva Travel Services Travel Planner about converting their points for non-Festiva network travel. The Travel Planner will search for available options (airfare, car rental, hotels) and will quote the available results in FAC points currency.

Upon the member confirming with the Travel Planner that they wish to proceed with the reservation, the quoted amount of FAC points will be deducted from the member's account, a reservation will be made in the member's name and a confirmation number will be given.

Conversion Window: Eligible members are entitled to convert their FAC use year allotment of points beginning no sooner than 150 days from date of check-in and ending no later than 14 days prior to check-in.

Restrictions:

A major credit card will be required to be put on file at time of reservation.

The credit card will not be charged for any direct travel purchases.

FAC points may only be converted at this time for direct travel purchases.

These direct travel purchases may include; nightly hotel charges, taxes, tariffs & fees, airline ticket prices and ticket related charges, rental car daily charges, taxes and insurance.

The credit card would be charged for an amount equal to any non-direct travel purchase expenses incurred by Festiva Travel Services related to the member's reservation.

These non-direct travel purchases may include but are not limited to; hotel food & beverage charges, hotel parking charges, hotel internet or movie charges, hotel gift shop charges, hotel damage charges, extended stay charges, airport parking or transportation charges, airline baggage charges, airline change ticket charges, rental car damage charges, rental car extended reservations charges, rental car gasoline charges, rental car excess mileage charges, etc.

All hotel reservation quotes will be equal to the total final amount of FAC points deducted from a member's account.

All airline reservation quotes will be equal to the total final amount of FAC points deducted from a member's account.

All rental car reservation quotes will be estimated based on the estimated direct travel purchase cost at time of reservation. Any excess direct travel purchase charges incurred in relation to taxes, fees and insurance will be deducted from a member's upon receipt of final bill from car rental agency.

A member may cancel any hotel reservation up to 72 hours prior to arrival. The member will be charged a $30 Cancellation Fee and receive a full refund of all FAC points converted for the hotel stay.

A member will not be refunded any FAC points based on early check-out related to hotel stays.

A member may cancel any airline ticket up to 72 hours prior to scheduled departure. The member will be charged a $30 Cancellation Fee. The member will not receive a refund of FAC points, but will retain a credit with the selected airline for a period of time as determined by the selected airline. Any charges related to cancellation or changing of ticket will be the responsibility of the member.

A member may be subject to cancellation penalties directly from the supplier in addition to any cancellation charges. Please make sure you read the cancellation/change policies for any travel products you are booking.

A member may cancel any rental car reservation up to 72 hours prior to pick-up. The member will be charged a $30 Cancellation Fee and receive a full refund of all FAC points converted for the rental car.

A member will not be refunded any FAC points based on early rental car return.

Rental car insurance as offered by the rental car agency is mandatory and will be factored into the estimated quote at time of reservation.

A member may receive reward points from participating hotels if the member is enrolled in a particular program.

A member may or may not receive reward miles from participating depending on the selected airline's policy.

A member will not receive any reward points from rental car agencies.

A member may designate up to 4 Friends & Family members over the age of 18 not living in the immediate household to travel as guests through FAC points conversion.

Each Friends & Family membership will be charged a $125 enrollment fee good for the life the FAC Loyalty Program Level Membership or FAC Membership whichever terminates soonest.

A member may add and remove the 4 Friends & Family members but shall be charged the $125 enrollment fee each time.

Friends & Family members over the age of 18 may fly on participating airlines unaccompanied.

Friends & Family members over the age of 21 may stay at participating hotels unaccompanied.

Friends & Family members over the age of 25 may reserve rental cars at participating rental car agencies unaccompanied.

Friends & Family members not meeting the aforementioned requirements must be accompanied by an adult at least 25 years of age.

Friends & Family reservations must be made by the members listed on the FAC account.

All reservations requests are based on availability.

Participating travel partners are subject to change at any time without notice.

Points Conversion Rules & Regulations are subject to change at any time without notice.


Members utilizing the Points conversion program are bound to the terms and conditions and policies set by the supplier. Festiva is in no way responsible for changes to these policies and makes no representations or guarantees as to the availability of any service or product. The member also understands that Festiva will in no way be held liable for any loss or damages incurred by the member or any of their authorized travelers. Any damages to hotel rooms, rental cars or the like are the sole responsibility of the member.
